Girl Stop Complaining!
A woman on a mission...or at least about to bust a move!
My goals include trying to help women empower themselves and reach levels of success that surpasses they're own understanding.
I have been working as a mental health counselor and life coach for the past 8 years and what comes up in almost every situation with clients is their inability to reach their goals in some capacity. Some of these areas include achieving a heightened state of awareness and improved mental health, career goals, financial goals, improving self-esteem and body image, improving interpersonal relationships, the list goes on and on. However, people don't typically see it as a goal setting problem. Often times people can't see past their current position in life and don't realize that they are stuck because they do not know where exactly they want to be, they are looking to the past for a cure for the future or perhaps they just think so lowly of themselves that goal setting is a hard feat.
My job is to assist those people who desire change in developing goals and taking action steps that will help them procure a better and brighter future. I look forward to starting this adventure with you and hope that we make beautiful dialogue together as we grudgingly move to stop complaining and start doing!
Aside from all that mumbo jumbo, I am a kid at heart. I love dancing, being silly, spending time with my family, reading and definitely writing stories (You will hear more about this in the near future). I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, trained in domestic violence, sexual assault assistance and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMAD-postpartum depression and anxiety). My passion lies within these fields along with working with youth (Sam loves the babies) and mothers preparing for childbirth. I like to think that I am funny but I suppose only the comments will tell.
